Zhang Lixun

Zhang Lixun is a distinguished professor-level engineer at Lanzhou University’s College of Ecology, recognized for his contributions to avian ecology and conservation technology. Over the past three decades, he has pioneered the use of advanced technologies, including infrared cameras and AI systems, in wildlife monitoring. His work has enabled precise tracking of migratory bird patterns and has greatly enhanced the understanding of avian populations and their habitats across several provinces in China.
