Zhang Tianji

Zhang Tianji was a renowned recluse and scholar during the Northern Song Dynasty, known for his deep friendship with the famous poet Su Shi (Su Dongpo). Su Shi visited Zhang multiple times at Yunlong Mountain, where their bond flourished amidst the mountain's serene beauty. Zhang's character and lifestyle greatly influenced Su Shi's poetry, particularly in works like 'Over Yunlong Mountain' and 'Record of the Crane Pavilion.' His presence and wisdom provided Su Shi with much-needed solace and inspiration during a tumultuous period in the poet's life.
