Zhang Yingmei

Zhang Yingmei is the Party Secretary of Guansheng Village in Xihu Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing. She has played a pivotal role in transforming the village’s agricultural landscape by initiating a sustainable tea farming project that turned previously barren land into a thriving tea garden, which is now considered a 'green bank' for the villagers. Under her leadership, the community has successfully integrated agriculture with economic development, allowing residents to earn rental income and wages from tea cultivation.
