Zheng Dongguo
Zheng Dongguo was a Nationalist general during the Chinese Civil War, best known for his command of the garrison at Changchun during the 1948 siege by Communist forces. His leadership during the brutal blockade, which resulted in significant civilian casualties, ultimately led to his surrender due to internal mutinies and the overwhelming pressure from the People's Liberation Army.
