Zhuang Qiao was a general from the ancient state of Chu who played a pivotal role in establishing the Kingdom of Dian in present-day Yunnan, China, around 279 BC. His military expedition into the region marked the beginning of a civilization known for its sophisticated bronze metallurgy and fierce warrior culture.
