Žilvinas Galimovas

Žilvinas Galimovas is a former member of the Jonavos municipal council in Lithuania, recently in the news for being upheld as guilty in a case involving the embezzlement of funds meant for council activities. He was found to have abused his official position to gain personal financial benefits by systematically forging documents. The Supreme Court confirmed the lower court's ruling, maintaining his conviction and a fine of €10,300 for misappropriated funds, alongside a three-year prohibition from holding any public office.
