Zophia Edwards

Zophia Edwards is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Johns Hopkins University, known for her research on the intersection of trade unionism and political power in Trinidad and Tobago. She authored the book 'Fueling Development: How Black Radical Trade Unionism Transformed Trinidad and Tobago' (Duke University Press, 2025), which examines the complex relationship between labor movements and political parties in the region.
