Zoppo

Zoppo was a male Waldrapp ibis, born in 2017, and a part of a reintroduction project aiming to restore the population of this endangered species in Europe. Tragically, Zoppo was killed by a poacher shortly after arriving in Italy with a young bird named Zaz, highlighting the severe threat posed by illegal hunting to wildlife in Italy.
