He graduated in Yugoslav studies from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and began publishing stories in various magazines and newspapers in 1987. His first collection, 'The Walt Disney Mouse Trap,' was published in 1996 and earned him the 'Decade' award ten years later. Feric's works often explore the complexities of human nature, addressing themes of love, taboo, and the absurdities of everyday life. His novels, including 'The Death of the Matchstick Girl' and 'While Crossing the River,' have garnered critical acclaim and are characterized by a unique blend of poetic language and incisive social commentary.
