Zuzana Herz

Zuzana Herz was one of the three siblings from the Herz family who faced tragic circumstances during World War II. While she was able to complete her education at the Evangelical Collegiate Gymnasium in Prešov, her brothers, Lajosa and Trúdi, were among the Jewish students expelled from school due to government policies, which led to dire consequences for many Jewish families in Slovakia.
