Ælfgyva

Ælfgyva is a mysterious figure depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry, believed to be an Anglo-Saxon woman whose identity and significance remain largely unknown. She is one of the few women represented in the tapestry, which chronicles the events leading to the Norman Conquest of England.
