Đorđije Minja Bećir

Đorđije Minja Bećir was another victim of the violent crime wave in Budva during the 1990s, having been assassinated in 1997. His murder was executed by a sniper as he exited his vehicle, and like many others, it remains unsolved. Bećir's case illustrates the rampant violence and lack of accountability within the criminal justice system in Montenegro during that tumultuous period.
