Abdul Moeis
Abdul Moeis was a prominent Indonesian journalist and writer from West Sumatra, known for his active role in the Indonesian independence movement against Dutch colonial rule. He was the first person to be awarded the title of National Hero in Indonesia, a recognition bestowed by President Sukarno in 1959 to promote national unity during a period of political unrest.
