Abu Khadijah, identified as a key figure within the Islamic State (ISIS), served as the group's international operations chief. He was recently reported killed in a U.S. airstrike, which was confirmed by both U.S. President Donald Trump and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani. Known for his reputation as one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and globally, his death is seen as a significant blow to ISIS, which was largely defeated in Iraq by late 2017 with the help of international coalition forces.
