Adi Shita

Adi Shita, 86, is also a founding member of Kibbutz Nir Oz. She has deep roots in the community and recalls her early days in the kibbutz as part of the Nahal movement. Shita remembers her friend Oded Lipschitz as a person worth listening to, who had a strong peace-oriented philosophy and maintained connections with people in Gaza. The recent loss of many friends and fellow members in the attacks has left her with a profound sense of grief and a commitment to preserving the kibbutz's ideals.
