Natan Behat

Natan Behat, 87, is a founding member of Kibbutz Nir Oz, having arrived in 1958. A veteran of the Israel Defense Forces, Behat survived the recent attacks on his community and remains committed to living there. He reflects on the history of the kibbutz and its residents, expressing a desire for peace and coexistence with neighboring communities. Despite the trauma experienced during the violence, he emphasizes the importance of rebuilding and nurturing the spirit of the kibbutz.
