Ahmed Aziz

Ahmed Aziz is an Egyptian trader who endured a harrowing experience in RSF custody in Sudan, where he was detained for several months under deplorable conditions. Alongside Emad Mouawad, he faced torture, malnutrition, and the loss of fellow detainees in a prison where disease spread unchecked. After being released in March 2025, Aziz is now back in Egypt, grappling with the traumatic memories of his imprisonment and the stark realities of returning to civilian life.
