Ajeeba Ali

Ajeeba Ali is a Pakistani woman who, along with her husband Sikander, has endured the hardships of climate-induced displacements due to recurring floods. After initially fleeing to Karachi in 2010, Ajeeba returned to her rural home but was forced to relocate again following devastating rains in 2022. Residing in the Sindhabad slum with her husband and their ten children, Ajeeba supports her family’s efforts to adapt to urban life while hoping for a better future for her children, despite the precarious living conditions.
