Alan Bourke

Alan Bourke was a former Republic of Ireland junior soccer player known for his talent on the field, having been capped for the national team in 1996 and winning the Munster Junior Cup with Mungret Regional FC in 1994. Tragically, he died from head injuries sustained during an unprovoked assault in Limerick, which led to a public outcry and highlighted issues of violence and vulnerability in society.
