Alana S. Portero is a renowned Spanish activist, journalist, and theater actress, known for her advocacy on human rights issues. Born in Madrid in 1978, she gained significant acclaim for her debut novel 'Mal hábito' (2023), which draws upon her own experiences as a transgender woman. The book has been a tremendous success, translated into multiple languages, and is set to be adapted into a film.
