Alberto Salagan

Alberto Salagan, a 30-year-old deportee from the US, faced significant challenges when he was sent back to Mexico, a country he had not seen since infancy. Born in Acapulco and raised in California, he became involved in gang life before his arrest for gang-related activities. Alberto's deportation left him homeless and disoriented, but his bilingual skills led him to a job at EZ Call Center, where he found stability and a sense of belonging among fellow deportees.
