
Aleksandr Shurshev
Aleksandr Shurshev is a 42-year-old Russian opposition figure who previously served as a councilman and political activist. He worked as an anti-corruption expert and was employed by Alexei Navalny, the prominent critic of President Vladimir Putin. Following threats to his safety, Shurshev fled Russia and is currently an undocumented immigrant in Spain. He is part of a group of 65 Russian exiles who are facing uncertainty regarding their residency status in Spain after allegedly being abandoned by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, despite earlier promises of support.
