Aleksey Lazarev
Aleksey Lazarev was a 27-year-old Belarusian volunteer who served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Having previously studied at Belarusian State University and engaged in activism against military conscription laws, he became involved in the political landscape during the protests following the 2020 presidential elections in Belarus. Fleeing his home country due to threats of imprisonment, he lived in Georgia before relocating to Ukraine, where he joined the fight against the Russian invasion as a member of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment. He returned to service in early 2025, where he tragically lost his life, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to both his family and the ideals of a better world.
