Aleksey Navalni

Aleksey Navalni was a prominent Russian opposition leader and anti-corruption activist known for his vocal criticism of President Vladimir Putin. He gained international attention for his political campaigns and for surviving a poisoning incident in 2020 involving a nerve agent. Tragically, Navalni died on February 16, 2024, while imprisoned in a penal colony, with allegations that he was poisoned again, this time with a toxin derived from the skin of poison dart frogs. His death has led to accusations against the Kremlin from multiple countries, asserting that only the Russian government had the means and motive to carry out such an act.
