Alex Mashinsky

Alex Mashinsky is an Israeli-American entrepreneur and the founder of the cryptocurrency company Celsius Network. Born in Ukraine during the Soviet era and later immigrating to Israel before moving to New York in 1988, he became a prominent figure in the crypto community. However, he was recently sentenced to 12 years in prison for orchestrating a massive fraud scheme that misled investors and resulted in significant financial losses for thousands of customers.
