Alexander Barrera Serrano

Alexander Barrera Serrano is a Cuban migrant who has been living in Tapachula, Mexico, for two years. After facing bureaucratic challenges in his attempts to seek asylum, he turned to informal work and partnered with a local Mexican to start a carpentry business. Despite the difficulties of starting with limited resources, he has successfully invested his earnings into creating furniture and establishing a livelihood.
