
Alexander Berkman
Alexander Berkman (1867-1936) was a prominent anarchist and political activist known for his involvement in the early 20th-century anarchist movement in the United States. He is best known for his attempted assassination of industrialist Henry C. Frick in 1892 as a protest against oppressive labor conditions. Berkman was a close associate of Emma Goldman and contributed significantly to anarchist literature and thought, advocating for workers' rights, anti-capitalism, and social revolution.
