Alexander Dronov
Alexander Dronov is the acting governor of Novgorod Oblast, having taken office following the resignation of his predecessor, Andrey Nikitin. He has been a prominent figure in regional politics, serving as the first deputy governor since 2020. Dronov is an alumnus of the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction Institute and has extensive experience in various governmental roles related to transportation and infrastructure. He is currently the leading candidate to be officially appointed as the governor by President Vladimir Putin.
