Alexander Kovsh

Alexander Kovsh was a Belarusian priest and a prominent figure within the Belarusian community in the early 20th century. Born into a family of farmers, he became a banker before dedicating his life to the church. His commitment to social justice led him to advocate for the rights of Belarusian citizens, ultimately resulting in his arrest and execution by the Gestapo for saving Jews during the Holocaust.
