Alexander Tarnashinsky

Alexander Tarnashinsky is a political figure in Ukraine who was sentenced to five years in prison for preparing to overthrow the constitutional order and for collaborating with Russian intelligence services. He was a prominent associate of Viktor Medvedchuk, the former leader of the banned political party Opposition Platform — For Life, and was involved in the movement 'Ukrainian Choice'. Tarnashinsky was detained on May 5, 2022, and was recently transferred to Russia as part of a large prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia.
