Alexandra Tănase

Alexandra Tănase is a pharmacist and co-founder of the NGO Asociația Pe Stop, which addresses menstrual poverty in Romania. Since 2018, she has been actively involved in providing menstrual hygiene products and education to underprivileged women and girls, particularly in rural areas and marginalized neighborhoods of Bucharest. Her work aims to destigmatize menstrual health issues and promote awareness about personal hygiene among young women, ensuring they receive the necessary support and education.
