Alexandre Litvinenko

Alexandre Litvinenko was a former Russian FSB agent who became a vocal critic of the Russian government. He was poisoned with polonium-210 in London in 2006, an act widely believed to have been orchestrated by the Kremlin, making him a symbol of state-sponsored assassination.
