Alexis Obolensky

Alexis Obolensky is a retired educator and the president of the Association of Russian Orthodox Cult in Nice (ACOR), an organization founded in 1923 that oversees the Russian Orthodox Church and cemetery in the region. He has been at the forefront of a protracted legal battle against the Russian government, which seeks to reclaim properties that were historically significant to Russian émigrés after the October Revolution.
