Alfred Roberts

Alfred Roberts was a notable British businessman and politician, best known as the father of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Born in Grantham, he owned two shops in the town and was an influential figure in the community, serving as a local preacher and a member of the town council, even holding the position of mayor from 1945 to 1946.
