Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat

Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat is a prominent Nigerian media entrepreneur and the founder of Agidigbo FM, a popular radio station in Oyo State. He recently gained media attention due to his involvement in the tragic December 2024 funfair stampede at the Islamic High School in Basorun, Ibadan, which resulted in the death of 35 children. Alongside Naomi Silekunola, the ex-wife of the Ooni of Ife, and the school's principal, he faced murder and negligence charges that were subsequently withdrawn by the Oyo State government.
