Ali Şükrü Bey

Ali Şükrü Bey was a prominent Turkish politician and member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. He is best known for his role in the Turkish War of Independence and as one of the early advocates for public health and anti-alcohol legislation in Turkey, notably introducing a bill to prohibit alcohol consumption during the critical years of the national struggle.
