Alicia Torancio

Alicia Torancio was lured from her humble family in Corrientes, Argentina, at the age of sixteen with promises of a brighter future. By the age of twenty-two, she was responsible for managing a kitchen serving around seventy people affiliated with Opus Dei, but her experience led to severe health issues, including a hospitalization following a suicide attempt, as she struggled with the oppressive conditions she endured.
