Norma Pedrozo

Norma Pedrozo, originally from Argentina, was recruited at the age of fourteen with promises of a better life and education, only to find herself working as a domestic servant in Rome. She recounted her experience of realizing her situation when her mother’s talcum powder, a cherished gift, was taken from her, prompting her to escape from what she described as a life of servitude.
