Aliza Vitis Shomron

Aliza Vitis Shomron, born in 1928 in Warsaw, Poland, is a Holocaust survivor and one of the few remaining members of the Jewish underground in the Warsaw Ghetto. She participated in the resistance movement and helped organize efforts to resist deportations during the Holocaust. After enduring the horrors of the Holocaust, Aliza immigrated to Israel, where she has dedicated her life to education and preserving the memory of the Holocaust. She currently resides in Kibbutz Givat Oz, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
