Allen Chaney

Allen Chaney is the legal director for the South Carolina chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). He has been vocal in condemning what he describes as intimidation tactics against educators and public servants for their political expressions, particularly in response to the fallout from comments made about the death of Charlie Kirk. Chaney advocates for the importance of protecting free speech, even when that speech is controversial or upsetting.
