Amanzhol Imanov

Amanzhol Imanov was a prominent Kazakh leader during the 1916 uprising in Kazakhstan against the Russian Empire's mobilization order, which aimed to conscript local men for labor during World War I. Imanov played a key role in organizing resistance among the Kazakh population and leading armed resistance in the Turgai region, where he became a symbol of national struggle for the rights and autonomy of the Kazakh people.
