Nikolai II
Nikolai II was the last Emperor of Russia, reigning from 1894 until his abdication in 1917. His reign saw significant social and political upheaval, culminating in the Russian Revolution, which led to his execution along with his family by Bolsheviks in 1918. He is remembered for his tragic end and has been canonized as a martyr by the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.
