Amenhotep III was the ninth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, reigning from approximately 1386 to 1349 BCE. He is known for his extensive building projects, including the construction of magnificent temples and monuments, as well as for his diplomatic relationships and marriages, notably to Queen Tiye. His reign is often considered a high point of ancient Egyptian civilization, marked by wealth, cultural flourishing, and artistic achievement.
