Thutmose III, often referred to as the 'Napoleon of Egypt,' was the sixth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, reigning from 1479 to 1425 BC. He is renowned for his military conquests and expansion of Egypt’s empire to its greatest extent, as well as for his impressive building projects. His reign marked a high point in Egyptian history, as he established Egypt as a dominant power in the ancient world. He is also known for his relationship with Queen Hatshepsut, who was both his stepmother and co-regent.
