Amilcar Gómez

Amilcar Gómez was a Venezuelan politician and member of the Unión Republicana Democrática (URD) party, who played a significant role in the political landscape of Venezuela during the mid-20th century. He was involved in efforts to unify various political factions against the authoritarian regime of Marcos Pérez Jiménez, particularly during the formation of the Junta Patriótica, which aimed to restore democracy in the country.
