Anan Wahbi

Dr. Anan Wahbi is a retired lieutenant colonel and a political science lecturer at the University of Haifa, as well as a research fellow at the Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at Reichman University. He specializes in Middle Eastern politics, particularly focusing on the Druze community in Syria and their historical and contemporary political dynamics. Recently, he gained attention for his insights into the complex relations between Druze and Bedouins in Syria, particularly in relation to ongoing violent conflicts and historical grievances.
