Anatolijs Karpovs

Anatolijs Karpovs is a Russian chess grandmaster and former World Chess Champion, known for his strategic style and deep understanding of chess theory. He became World Champion in 1975 after Bobby Fischer refused to defend his title. Karpov dominated the chess world throughout the late 20th century and is regarded as one of the greatest chess players in history.
