Anatoliy Stavytskyi, the father of former energy minister Eduard Stavytskyi, was in the news for attempting to recover 48 kilograms of gold and $4.8 million in cash that were confiscated by the Ukrainian state as part of an investigation related to his son's alleged corruption.
