Andrej Urtāns

Andrej Urtāns is the head of the Traffic Infrastructure Department and was previously involved in a scandal related to the mismanagement of funds for street repairs in Riga, which allegedly resulted in the improper use of approximately seven million euros. Despite the allegations, a thorough investigation by the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau found no violations in the department's operations. Urtāns, along with another individual, faced accusations related to bribery in connection with land privatization near Riga Airport.
