Andrés Amauri Rosario Henríquez

Andrés Amauri Rosario Henríquez was recently ordained as the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Santiago de los Caballeros, a position conferred by Pope León XIV due to his extensive pastoral experience and commitment to priestly formation. Born on September 23, 1976, in Seboruco, Tamboril, he has served in various capacities within the Catholic Church, including as rector of the San Pío X Minor Seminary and a teacher at the Theological School for Deacons. His episcopal motto, "Gratia Dei sum id quod sum" (By the grace of God, I am what I am), reflects his belief in the divine calling he has received to shepherd his community.
